Spread across nine acres of lush, varied terrain, Aja Mountain is an eco-resort designed as a sustainable retreat that feels genuinely different. Natural materials let the architecture settle into the hillside rather than sit on it. A network of trails leads guests to concrete and bamboo-clad cottages, each with generous glazing to frame the mountain views, an open-air shower and a private balcony.

Quiet meditation spots are scattered through the site, and an elevated yoga deck looks out over the valley. At its heart, a semi-circular infinity pool reaches towards the view beside a circular conversation pit with a fire feature for gatherings. A coconut-lined driveway sets the arrival, while soft lighting and a neighbouring river deepen the calm.
