On Negril’s West End, where the sky and sea meet in shifting colour, Syd’s On The Rocks began with a setting that already felt extraordinary. The brief was to fold the ease of Mediterranean al fresco dining into the Caribbean charm that defines the island, all within a restaurant and bar perched directly above the water.

We worked with the existing structure, introducing natural materials, refined detailing and a fresh, sun-washed palette. The aim was to create a place that feels relaxed but considered, where every texture, tone and visual cue is chosen to slow the pace and invite a deeper breath. Conversations soften here and time feels unhurried. It is less a venue than a spot to lose an afternoon to the horizon.
