When the owner came to us, at the heart of his vision was family. The home was already in the late stages of construction and looking beautiful, so our role was to design around and complement what was there. The brief asked for a pickle-ball court and a mini golf area. From there, the site led the way.
The design steps the home down toward the beach through layered tiers and cut stone retaining walls, with diagonal stairs slicing through to add depth to the facade. Each tier becomes its own zone, tuned to a different mood, so the space works as a compact family resort where memories are made.
Across the tiers, outdoor living unfolds: a sunken conversation pit, an outdoor kitchen, an infinity pool with a jacuzzi, and a dining area, all wrapping the pool so life flows easily from inside out. Facing the pickleball court, we drew on an ambition we’d held for a long time and shaped the seating as an amphitheatre, turning a place to watch the game into a gathering space of its own.
